The Floyd Memorial Library Reference Room is located on the fourth floor and is accessible by stairs or elevator. Here you will find the Reference Librarian plus reference resources, nonfiction, an online catalog of the library's holdings, a copy machine, and a comfortable sitting area next to a beautiful picture window. There are four Internet computers upstairs in the Reference Room available on a first come, first serve basis. You must use a courtesy card (obtained at the Circulation desk) and the time limit is usually forty-five minutes per person per day. If you need printouts, the cost is ten cents per page and you can purchase paper from the Circulation Desk or from the Reference Librarian.

Reference Librarians are available to answer your question using electronic resources or provide assistance searching the Internet. We can help you find information, articles, books, and much more. ANSWERSER24x7 is a cooperative effort of the public libraries in Suffolk County, New York.
